“HIGH ON THE HOG” STARRING ICONIC HORROR STAR SID HAIG TO HIT THE BIG SCREEN
CHICAGO, IL, October 10, 2017 – Kevin Lockhart, writer and executive producer, will soon be releasing
his first feature film “High on the Hog”, starring horror film icon Sid Haig (“The Devil’s Rejects”, “House
of 1000 Corpses”, “Jackie Brown”, “Kill Bill: Vol 2”). Directed by Tony Wash (“It’s My Party and I’ll
Die if I Want To”), “High on the Hog” is slated to be released in late 2017.
A film with a pro-legalization message, “High on the Hog” is a grindhouse mystery thriller about a
marijuana farmer and the lengths he will go to in order to protect his small town and his family. Sid Haig
leads the cast as Big Daddy, the film’s protagonist marijuana farmer, alongside action icons Robert Z’Dar
and Joe Estevez.
